BIOMOD 2024

Our Cell and Chem team recently competed at the BIOMOD 2024 Jamboree in Kitakyushu, Japan! Our submission, DNADetect, was awarded bronze in the Project Awards category. The BIOMOD team had an amazing experience and were honoured to represent both our team and the University of Calgary on an international level.

Event Recap

This exciting opportunity brought together a crowd of students, professors, and graduate students to discuss research opportunities in electrical, software, and biomedical engineering. It allowed for thought-provoking conversations, sparked new interests, and provided a platform for individuals to further build their professional network by meeting influential people in the field.

General Meeting Recap

On Sunday, all BMERIT sub-teams gathered for our general meeting, where we shared updates on the progress of our projects and discussed our plans moving forward.
