This year has been an incredible one for BMERIT! In November, our BIOMOD team traveled to Japan for the international competition and brought home a bronze medal for their hard work. In October, our remote project took first place in the Innovative Design category at the Schulich Engineering Competition.
In August, we hosted the second annual Biodesign Synergy, our national bioengineering event. Our team earned recognition for Best Technical Execution and received valuable feedback to push our projects even further.
We’re also thrilled to have taken on three new projects this year, with even more on the horizon for 2025. Since starting the club with just 34 members, we’ve grown to an amazing 81 members by the end of 2024!
🎉 Here’s to even more success in the year ahead! 🎉
